Celebrating One Year with Charles Stephen & Co.: A Personal Story

It’s been a year since I joined forces with Charles Stephen & Co.? Time really flies! I wanted to take a moment to share with you why I made this move and what it means for me as well as my clients.

So, let’s rewind to August of 2018 when life threw me a curveball in the form of a bicycle accident. It was a tough time, spending 16 days in the hospital and months in physical therapy. But you know what? It gave me a new perspective, especially when it came to my clients. Jenny and I often said to each other, "Well, it could've been worse." It got me thinking about how important it is to have a plan in place for life's unexpected twists and turns.

Then, just as I was getting back on my feet, bam! COVID-19 hit. Suddenly, I found myself in demand from various companies, all eager to have me on board. But I wasn’t about to jump ship without finding the right fit. I wanted to be somewhere that shared my values and where I could continue to put clients first.

That’s when fate stepped in. A colleague suggested I chat with Adam Ciepiela at Charles Stephen & Co. The more I learned about them, the more it felt like a great match. Their commitment to personalized service and integrity resonated with me, and I knew I’d found my people.

Fast forward to May 1, 2023, when I officially joined the Charles Stephen family. It was a big move, but one filled with excitement and purpose. With their support, I can keep providing the top-notch service my clients deserve while also reaching even more folks who could benefit from expert financial advice.

Joining Charles Stephen & Co. isn’t just about a new job—it’s about embarking on a journey of growth, collaboration, and, most importantly, looking out for our clients' best interests. I’m excited about what the future holds and grateful for everyone who’s been part of this journey.

And hey, speaking of new clients, if you or someone you know could use a hand with financial planning or just want a fresh perspective, reach out to me HERE.  I’d love to chat and see how I can help. As always, thanks for reading. KB
